plural reading Explanation: If this is literary criticism, a literal translation is possible, "plural reading" being a term used by Barthes etc. Jim is right, we need more context to be sure. Example sentence(s):

Confidence is very low, because I am guessing the context. I'm assuming this is a book containing a number of texts, each translated by different translators, so "lettura plurale" just means different things to read: "a variety of texts". |

Yet, it is also true, that the significance of the text in Italian you sent, may also be interpreted as a way of "understanding" in various ways a same text and giving of it a different version by each person who reads it, making it "incredible" as per its huge variety of forms and not by the reading contents itself.
