J’avais un problème de dents sur pivot qui se déchaussait régulièrement donc mon dentiste m’a proposé deux solutions : le bridge ou l’implant dentaire.

it's either post crownS (pl) and the verb is wrong or post crown (sing)

post crownS that regularly become loose
post crown that regularly becomeS loose

In fact what the person is saying is that he has a post crown, and that the crown is always coming loose. Unusual for the post to budge.

When the top of a tooth is lost due to decay there may be very little for the crown to actually hold onto. To gain 'retention' as dentists call it, a post is placed inside the tooth which forms a peg on top of the tooth and acts as a seat for the crown. Post crowns have a shorter lifespan than normal crowns as the roots may be brittle and weaker. Usually a post crown is a better option than having the tooth extracted with a subsequent denture or bridge.

From the British and International Dental Health Foundation. You'd think they knew what they were talking about...

What is a post crown?

In root-filled teeth it may be necessary to insert a post before placing a crown. A post provides support and helps the crown stay in place. The weakened crown of the tooth may be shortened to gum level.

A post can be made of prefabricated stainless steel which the dentist can fit directly into the root canal, or a custom-made post can be constructed by the dental technician to accurately fit the shape of the prepared root canal. The post is placed into the root canal and cemented in position, ready for the crown to be attached.

Apparently "post crown" is used in the US too:

Peer comment(s):

disagree Irene Nosrati : there is no such thing as post crown, those are two separate things and we refer to it as post and core with crown. the post and core is what the crown sits on

well maybe you don't say that in the US, but it is correct in the UK for example. See my refs. Also this is patient level language. Just because you've never heard of something doesn't mean it's wrong.
