I am translating a user's manual of a material handling system. It's a big piece of machinery used for transporting, labelling and palletizing reels.
The term in question is "gantry robots".
For instance:
Reel conveyors are connecting the slitter/doctor area with the shrink wrapping unit and GANTRY ROBOTS.
I have found that the term used is "robots de plataforma" but I am not quite sure about it.
