haughtiness / arrogance
تفرعن means behaving in a superior, condescending, or arrogant way. Etymologically speaking, it has its root in pharaoh; however, now this word, with its separate identity, is used in formal contexts and indicates self-important treatment of others.

Pharaohism
The word تفرعن is a derivation of فرعون the cruel pharaoh of Egypt. In an artistic text it is better to preserve these terms though they may seem strange and not so common. Please be notified that the writer could have used other options but the reason behind his/ her choice should be preserved by the nearest equivalent.
You can search the term there are lots of entries.
Firownism is another option.
The original and the equivalent enjoy somehow the same degree of strangeness, popularity, and semantic domain.

They all subscribed to political "pharaohism," which is to say that they sought to establish themselves as quasi-deified autocrats who presided over a mammoth dominant political party and controlled a powerful security apparatus and a state media apparatus that furnished the "pharaoh" with a special aura of sanctity and wisdom
