This is the name of a civil society organisation in Kolomna which does things like improve public spaces, projects which are for the benefit of society. Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance.

non-patrioteers
В отличие от "квасных" патриотов - есть в "Мультитране"

The definition of "patrioteer" in the Mirriam-Webster:
Definition of PATRIOTEER
: one who makes an ostentatious show of patriotism from venal or degraded motives : an insincere, misguided, or spurious patriot : flag-waver <they are quick to detect the phony and they can distinguish a patriot from a patrioteer — Dorothy Thompson> <catchword patrioteers — S.V.Benét> <patrioteers, roaring nationalists and reformers with apparently simple devices for making the world better and safer — Stanley Walker>
This civil society wants to stress that they are not patrioteers, but real patriots, acting for the benefit of society.

The Misha
: No offense, but I just never heard it used. I mean, it's there, but most hits are definitions of this wonderful new word that no one really uses where it matters.

Unostentatious patriots
квасной patriotism is usually quite superficial, and often it's more on grandstand and specious side (unlike true patriotism where supporters aim at achieving real tangible results in a quiet way, avoiding ostentations, etc... )
Imho, "Unostentatious Patriots" sounds on a par with "Неквасные патриоты" in style and tone.

"Patriots for Progress" / non-bigoted patriots
"Patriotism Without Bigotry" would be closer, but I think it doesn't sound too good to put a negative in a definition of a movement – especially a political one: a movement must be defined through what it IS rather through what it isn't. Our good citizens from Kolomna don't seem to be aware of that :)

: Not necessarily, Michael, there's a very famous French organization called "Ni putes, ni soumises" where the whole point is to say what women are not. ich stresses

Спасибо ма же не па даккор! “Мы не путаны“ могут говорить только те, кого таковыми или просто считают или так с ними обращаются.Признак слабости! Здесь в Италии,кто говорит“я-не вор“ - точно вор!

Just Plain Patriots
That's a non-negative idea for the name of an organization. I agree with Michael about that, though there is the small matter of the original. For a negatively formulated one, I was going to say:
Non-flag-waving Patriots
But I don't think that will fly as the name of a group. In the USA, you could have Non-Redneck Patriots, but... that's not only too culturally specific, but also not very p.c.
