Obviously it would help enormously to see the image, but there are quite a few results for the phrase 'sfogo prospettico' and they all seem to refer to the intensification of the sense of perspective in art and architecture.
Eg: "Come si vede, pur lasciando libero sfogo prospettico a Palazzo San Giacomo, si scelse di "murare" la originaria prospettiva..."

fading horizon
This is a bit of a guess, but I suspect this means that the horizon doesn't simply fade away into the background (a common technique for creating perspective), but is instead colourful and packed with activity.

Discussion
If not, and if the Asker is in a real fix, scanning a picture or even taking a digital photo to place on facebook or similar - reacheable via link, is simple.
Indeed, I just added this suggestion to the proZ < IDEAS > bin, with an example.
The current digital scenario has made this form of communicating pretty easy and quick.

One could say: just translate the source: this is fine in most subject matters, but, being in, and having worked in the arts' field for decades, I am well aware of how critics get carried away. In these cases, WHAT'S ACTUALLY THERE becomes vital.
If there is no infringement of publishing or author's rights involved, or these rights are waived, If there is a will there is a way. For example, a simple link to a low-def picture, scanned and posted on the Asker's facebook page could make all the difference...
It would be nice to hear colleagues' ideas and practical suggestions as well as the foormal position of ProZ moderators on the issue.
