English term

to interrupt someone’s train of thought

English to Persian (Farsi) Art/Literary Poetry & Literature Colloquial Dialogue
Greetings,

The sentence:
You interrupted my train of thought - now I can't remember what I was going to say.

This can sometimes be said by rather fussy people, as it does not necessarily involve interrupting someone while he is speaking, which is indeed rude in most circumstances.

Best wishes, and many thanks,

Simon

نمی ذاره، ... چی داشتم می گفتم.../ پرید تو حرفم، یادم رفت

These very well connote "indeed rude in most circumstances".
