English translation: positive examination for symmetrical vesicular murmur or breath sounds

French to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical: Cardiology / respiratory examination
French term or phrase: MV + bilatéral symétrique
Can anybody tell me what MV stands for in the context of a respiratory examination?:
"Ex respi:eupnéique, pas de signe de détresse respiratoire, MV + bilatéral symétrique sans bruit surajouté"
The only thing I have in mind is "mechanical ventilation" but I'm not sure that's right.
Thanks!

normal vesicular breath sounds in both lungs, symmetrical

Explanation:
The + sign is superfluous.

sans bruit surajouté = no adventitious sounds

BTW we rarely use "vesicular murmur" in English these days.

bilatéral and symétrique are two different aspects - the breath sounds are present on both sides (in both lungs) and they are equal in intensity
