Medical - Medical (general) / general abbreviations
Spanish term or phrase: Q.F.P.
This abbreviation shows up in a report from a biomedical engineering firm regarding preventive maintenance done on a centrifuge.

The heading of the report gives some basic information about the machine, then talks about the client:

CLIENTE: Laboratorio de Analisis Clínicos XYZ S.A. de CV/ Q.F.P. Juan Bautista Garcia Fuentes [not the real name].

I'm thinking that QFP refers to the responsible person to contact at this laboratory, followed by the person's name.

Is this right? What do the letters QFP stand for in Spanish, and how would we say this in English?

Chemist specialized in parasitology
Explanation:
Q.F.P. = químico farmacéutico parasitólogo

I suppose there may be a shorter form.

Pharmaceutical Chemist (Specialized in Parasitology) / PhC

Explanation:
Although I agree with Monica. I would like to add that there is no standard abbreviation for "Q.F.P." in English, but Pharmaceutical Chemist is abbreviated PhC. So, in this case, I would say PhC (and maybe add Specialized in Parasitology).
