Portuguese term
colaboradoras na unidade
Portuguese to English
Bus/Financial
Finance (general)
This phrase is giving me some trouble: "Atualmente, a empresa conta com mais de 4 mil colaboradoras na unidade."
"Unidade", I believe, is referring to "clientes das áreas de Meios de Pagamento, Utilities e Telecomunicações" which appears in the sentence before this one. The full passage is below:
"Atualmente, a empresa conta com mais de 4 mil colaboradoras na unidade. Na sua carteira, estão 300 das 500 maiores empresas do País, especialmente clientes das áreas de Meios de Pagamento, Utilities e Telecomunicações."

employees in the unit
"colaborador" is the PC term for employee in Brazil. "colaboradoras" implies female employees. I agree that "unidade" refers to what you suggest, from the previous sentence - a business unit.

associate/workers in the office/department/segment
I'm not so sure about "employee" unless you're sure they are not temporary staff, independent contractors or third-party workers.
You say "unidade" refers to "pagamento, utilities e telecomunicações", but the word is normally used to refer to a physical office, branch etc. That's why I'm suggesting a few different options.

Typo: associates.
