boca de pato

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks
From an air conditioning system installation manual, for buses

Go for it Helena Doubt you'll annoy anyone! I think they might be different things, they look pretty different in the photos. Perhaps others have a clearer idea :o)

I didn't want to annoy anyone :) I googled Lorena's suggestion of duckbill drain valve and it seemed appropriate. If you like, I can re-post my answer ;)
William Pairman (asker) Dec 27, 2012:
Why was "duckbill nozzle" hidden? It seemed more commonly used in industrial applications, "valve" seems most common in a medical context

duckbill nozzle

This might be what you're looking for. I associate a 'mouth' with a 'bill'. I didn't know there were duckbill valves. I suppose the difference is that a valve controls the flow and a nozzle shapes the flow of the water coming out, without controlling it.
