XXX is an imaging device for volume and cross-sectional imaging of human tissue.
There are three modes of imaging: slice mode, en face mode and 3D mode.
Am găsit multe exemple în care termenii "en face" şi "slice" sunt păstraţi ca atare, dar nu sunt sigură dacă sunt deja consacraţi. Căutând mai departe, am ajuns la concluzia că cel mai apropiat echivalent pentru "en face" ar fi "plan orizontal", dar mă întreb dacă este suficient şi 100% corect. În alte limbi a fost tradus prin "longitudinal" (spaniolă), "coupe horizontale" (franceză).
