Johannes Gleim Apr 26, 2013:
No ghit for "Strichgleichspannung" in the internet. I never heard such term in Gernan, even I was active for 40 years as electrical engineer.

Please ask your client, what it is!

Constant voltage DC power supply

This seems to be what they're talking about, although the actual expression "Strichgleichspannung" occurs rarely, it seems. The translation in the "already translated" link (in the discussion) reads very "machine" to me, so I wouldn't touch it with a proverbial barge pole.
Peer comment(s):

agree Richard Stephen : Yes, also the 'bzw.' indicates that this is just another name for 'Dauergleichspannung' (continuous ...), so constant would fit well, i.e. ...continuous or constant DC voltages (I believe the 'power supply' is superfluous)

neutral Johannes Gleim : Could you please explain why "Strichgleichspannung" corresponds to "Dauergleichspannung"? I am electrical engineer since 1972, but have never heard such term. If both terms were identical, why they are distinguished?

I'm not the one claiming the terms are identical. As regards "Strichgleichspannung," my "feeling" is that it refers to the DC current from a battery (i.e. not rectified AC), which is represented by a straight line (bzw. Strich).
