Et si l'on prend en compte le texte de la page 9, sous l'intitulé "Benchmark parameter" :

"The benchmark parameter, if present, merely constitutes an indicative element in the risk/return profile of the portfolio managed or the Fund, useful for comparing the results obtained in the management activities."

Il me semble que "The benchmark parameter, if significant, ..." est mal tourné et signifie simplement "L'indice de référence, le cas échéant, ...", le texte ci-dessous indiquant clairement qu'il n'y a pas recours systématique à la gestion indicielle.

Et lorsqu'il y a bien recours à un indice de référence, évidemment qu'il est "significatif" !!!

Donc :
