Llevarse la peor parte - el último orejón del tarro
Creo que no es casualidad que la frase sea bastante informal en este contexto por o que no la traduciría subiendole el registro. Mi opción sería:
¿se está llevando la peor parte?
O algo más informal como: ¿es el último orejón del tarro?
