This is from a surgery report concerning a hip replacement.
Context: "Das Gelenk ist völlig zugenarbt und mühsames Freischneiden von dorsal. Man trifft auf Abriebgranulom."
Is there an expression for this? Should it just be "granuloma caused by wear"?
