刚看到另一个post, 发现引文的实境并非大企业而是咖啡餐饮店，这里的"business" 较倾向“生意”的主导意义。

这句话省略一个词。加上了以后就更好理解：the sense of ownership of the business it gives each role. 这句话与拥有权或权利之类的词没有关系的。

同意jarv95888的观点。根据management structure的定义，business一词很可能是指在管理结构之中分属于某一职务的事宜。

这里的“business"有可能不是指“整个公司”的拥有意识或权力，可能是指这种结构式管理哲学赋予各个职工角色所分管“业务”的拥有意识或权力-- In other words, it is probably the business that the structured management gives or assigns to each role, instead of the ownership of the enterprise that each role is given.
从语法的结构来看，give 的宾语可以是“ownership of the business (the enterprise)",但很有可能只是”business"--结构分工所赋予个人的业务主权。
这可能要从前后文的语境来做决定。
