[suggestion for the whole sentence] Explanation: I think both of the previous answers have the right idea, but they don't fit with the preceding text. I suggest turning the whole thing round and saying: In my opinion, the desacralisation of the age in which we live is purely an appearance. As George says, secularisation is also a possibility. |
