UV-A (sogenanntes "nahes UV") bezeichnet einen bestimmten Abschnitt im UV-Spektrum. Es gibt noch UV-B, UV-C usw. Der Hauptanteil der UV-Strahlung im Tageslicht wird durch UV-A-Licht gebildet.
