I think you'd look great no matter what you wear
Pourriez vous me suggérer une traduction pour cette phrase svp ?
Le contexte : un homme se demande ce qu'il doit mettre à un dîner chez ses nouveaux beaux parents. Lui (genre baba cool)pensait mettre un short. Sa petite amie lui dit cette phrase "I think you'd look great no matter what you wear" en ajoutant toutefois que ses parents sont assez à cheval sur les conventions et qu'il vaut peut être quand même mieux qu'il mette un pantalon.

: petit bémol sur le futur "tu seras" (elle parle d'une manière générale, pas forcément pour cette occasion) et sur le "magnifique" qui ne se dit pas vraiment pour un homme, donc je dirais plutôt : "Quoi que tu portes, tu es toujours beau"

Pour le futur, ok mais je préfère magnifique à beau. La personne a choisi GREAT pas uniquement GOOD ou VERY GOOD. Mon humble avis.

: Pas d'accord avec Mélodie sur l'utilisation du futur : au contraire, ça traduit la confiance absolue de la fille folle amoureuse. D'ailleurs, en anglais il y a un désaccord de temps : 'normalement' on verrait "wore" avec "would" ou "will" before "wear"...
