I'm proofreading a document and have in French
"Au total, le coût du transport intérieur et du*** PAC*** grève la compétitivité du caoutchouc guinéen par rapport au caoutchouc ivoirien pourtant plus loin du marché européen."
The translation in English also uses 'PAC' but it is not in the French or English glossary and I can't work out what this could be, especially as it is the same in both languages at present.
I don't think it is 'Common European Policy (Politique Agricole Commune) as that is European and there is no explanation as to why such a policy, even in Guinea, would lead to losses.
Does anyone know please?

I would be strongly tempted to keep it in French as "Port Autonome de Conakry (PAC)", but I guess it depends on the audience. If it's a very unilingual target audience, then I'd use the English answer proposed.
It's comparing the cost of getting the rubber to the port and the cost of the port itself (presumably the cost of handling or even warehousing at the port and not including transport once it leaves the port). I'm surprised it's not cheaper for them to get it to the port in Abidjan, but perhaps there are other reasons for them to go through the PAC.

If it was a US audience I would provide it in English. Almost any other audience I would provide it in French.
