Un poco más del contexto donde se necesita, sería necesario para poder establecer la idoneidad del término. Doy mi acuerdo a “cribar” y a “tamizar”, porque creo que son los verbos que más se usan. Prefiero “cribar”, porque es el que me suena más “natural”... más adecuado... (desde mi más absoluta subjetividad, todo hay que decirlo). (Para mí, “cribar” tiene una connotación más “basta”, mientras que “tamizar” me resulta más “refino”... bueno, más refinado, más “tiquismiquis”, por así decirlo.)
Pero, bueno, “cribar” es también la elección del Oxford Bilingüe...
