The winemaking area in El Puerto de Santa Maria called Campo de Guia was the first planned industrial extension in Spain. The planning was carried out during the 1830’s when the winemaking industry of the the sherry production area was one of the principal Spanish economic activities. The international sales of wine accounted for approximately 10% of the total Spanish exports. The historical importance of El Puerto´s Winemaking extension is due to its early planning, its architectural and urbanisitc value and the beautiful landscape. It is one of a kind."

The English is not bad, but not native, and I think "expansion" is a better word here than "extension". "Industrial extension" has other connotations.
