When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

The UK produces most of its packaging from timber, for example wooden pallets, crates and boxes. Wood is a durable and renewable material therefore it is ideal to produce pallets and other transit packaging.

For transporting food products, Returnable Transit Packaging (RTP) is gradually replacing single trip packaging products, such as cardboard, as the preferred carrier.

PHS provides a wide selection of RTP food packaging including food crates, bakers trays, collapsible crates, bale arm crates, plastic pallets and pallet boxes. Constructed from durable polyethylene, our environmentally friendly food packaging products are specifically designed for multiple trips over an extended life, saving you money in the long run.
As returnable transit packaging eliminates the use of wood, cardboard and other fibrous materials, it helps to promote good hygiene. This makes them ideal for supermarkets and food manufacturers.

: I don't really see the returnable/deposit element in "transit packaging" on its own. Disagree w/ writeaway. / CHANGED MY ANSWER NEUTRAL TO AGREE ----> I agree with "returnable (transit) packaging" (IN THIS CONTEXT)

Thanks, Michael. I posted transit packaging as the EN equivalent of NL emballage, which is also not necessarily returnable/reusable. In this specific context, however, returnable (transit) packaging is indeed more appropriate. / Thnx!
