This is in an article about the artist Pavel Filonov, and refers in particular to his persecution by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s. Here is the entire paragraph to give the context:
Поводы, разрушившие школу Филонова, были разные, но глубинная причина одна – печатная и устная травля художника, его искусства и его последователей. Немногие теперь решились бы связать свою судьбу с именем Филонова. От учеников требовали отречения от Филонова, иначе не давали работу. Так было со скульптором Иннокентием Суворовым, который должен был получить заказ. Но его спросили: «Вы, кажется, работали с Филоновым, а затем порвали с ним?» Суворов ответил, что действительно ***работает и сейчас в установке на ту школу***. Тогда ему предложили: «Ну так напишите нам свое отречение от Филонова». Суворов отказался. Работу не дали.
I am puzzled by both 'в установке' (and not на установке) - 'установка' doesn't seem to mean an installation (or something similar) in this context, and by 'на' + accusative (meaning 'in the style of'?)
Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thank you in advance for any thoughts.
