When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion
Having said that, the term "duinovergang" is in several dictionaries, so perhaps freek is right after all (although I suspect the real reason he chose to speak up at this point is perhaps more related to a desire to make a tiny, oblique statement of defiance. Kind of like the Greek Οχι! But then perhaps a little different.).

Just one example:
See image: One of many small beach access points.
The main public beach access is where Bonita Beach Road joins the island and is right on the county line. Actually there are two separate accesses right next to each other.

I'll tell you where I am going: back to work and to Hell probably. :-)
Good evening.
= dune crossing (Van Dale NL-EN)
(3) duinovergang = dune crossing; dune walkover (Onroerend Goed Lexicon)
;) van zo'n ding, if you see what I mean, niet het ding zelf
I was looking at these D-box entries and came across this 'puzzling' :-) 'dune access points'.
Having said this, 'beach access points' may be just another option for translating 'duinovergangen'.
Where do you want me to go?
To Hell or to Heaven?
:-)

Strange translation:
...bijhouden van duinovergangen
...maintaining access to the beaches through dune access points
What about:
...bijhouden van duinovergangen
...maintaining beach access points

Verginia's "dune walkway" is just another synonym
it's the thing you use/path you walk/cycle on to cross a bunch of dunes. the text is about whether an observer standing on one of these could see the offshore wind stuff

All facilities on the beach are owned by the beach authority, which ensures proper maintenance, and municipalities are responsible for maintaining access to the beaches through dune access points.
