Vialenguas My view is that even if you post to the German to English forum, it is to ascertain the correct English translation. It matters nought that you are not German-speaking. It is the English you require, and it is for information purposes that you need a correct translation. Only then can you determine the correct Spanish. Any suggestions, as far as I am concerned by others, is a guessing game! I reiterate it matters little that you don't do German! Or you could post in the German to Spanish forum for info purposes only. There is nothing to stop you from doing so, as long as you explain your predicament and I am sure there are translators who will assist you! Regards.

Yes, I am now almost certain this is a wrong English translation as are a few others on the list I was given, even Google's "bushing shaft hub" certainly seems better.
Do you think that the "turnstile" (a wong translation most definitely) might have to do with the "Flecha" of the car or the "Ballesta"? Maybe I'm completely off. The problen is that I am not committed to translating the German, only the English to Spanish! and the English certinly seems wrong.

Vialenguas, I am not certain, but I believe the word order in English is wrong, or the term is incorrect. I had previously suggested that you post the term "Lagerbuchse Welle Drehkreuz" in the German forum. I don´t speak German but a Google translation gives the term "Bushing shaft hub". I know about "bush bearings", but not "bearing bush shaft". If you had a picture of the part, that would help!

This is a reliable link from Rover, UK where it speaks to a shaft bush/bearing, so I don´t understand where the term "turnstile" comes in

May I make a suggestion that you repost the German term to that forum to obtain a "proper" translation, which IMO, is incorrect.
