Hello, I'm trying to understand what are mid-media, as opposed to mass and mobile media. From my search on Internet, it's very much used in the humanitarian field and in behavioral change campaigns. Merci d'avance ! A translation in French would be completely appreciated of course!

Les mass-media y sont définis comme "tv dramas, tv spots, radio dramas," etc. et les mid-medias comme pamphlets, brochures, folk performances, community events, outdoor (wall paintings, ...).

Discussion
I think it’s a term somewhat unique to marketing and behavior change – I don’t know how it translates. The key distinction is the size of the area to which it’s targeted – it’s adapted to a specific locale, unlike mass-media, but still trying to reach as many people as possible, like mass-media.
