Bon, j'ai obtenu des éclaircissements de mon client : Mass media typically refers to print media (newspaper, magazines, recurrent billboard campaigns), radio and TV, that typically targets a mass population either nationally or regionally. Mid-media refers to intermediate reach between mass media (lots of people) and interpersonal communication (1-10 people at a time), usually targeting a larger population like a town or a peri-urban area. It might refer to leaflets being distributed at specific sites, street theater, local (town only) radio programs, hand paintings on buildings, etc.
I think it’s a term somewhat unique to marketing and behavior change – I don’t know how it translates. The key distinction is the size of the area to which it’s targeted – it’s adapted to a specific locale, unlike mass-media, but still trying to reach as many people as possible, like mass-media.

Eh bien je n'en ai pas beaucoup, il s'agit de stratégie de modification des comportements en matière de planification familiale, ils se servent des mass media (TV, radio etc), des mobile media (portables, etc) et des mid-media (et là, mystère)
