I am translating a document about international child abduction; a child was taken to Brazil by its mother against the wishes of the father in Switzerland. At the time of the abduction they were living in a stable union in Switzerland and had joint responsibility for the child. The document says that the mother should have gone to the Swiss authorities *objetivando o suprimento da outorga paterna* in order to remove the child from the country, and I am not sure how best to say this. Thank you

Selected
"to obtain a substitute for the father's consent"
Example sentence:

Georgia, I believe the document states she should have obtained the fathers authorization for the correct purpose, and she's probably being accused of bad faith.

If she took the child away for vacation purposes and never returned, not only she will have to return the child to the father, but she will also be convicted for kidnapping!

Note from asker:
in this case, she asked for and got authorisation to take the child to Brazil ON VACATION, but she had no intention of bringing him back |
