English term

Handout

Non-PRO English to Norwegian Other Education / Pedagogy Education app
This is a sheet or sheets of paper that a teacher would hand out to their students, so it could be anything. It's for an education app, and I have been told, since I asked, that in this case it's an invitation, but they would like a generic term. I can't think of a generic Norwegian term that can cover anything that a teacher might hand out.

Discussion

Hallvard Viken Oct 14, 2015:
In that case, I think you should simply use "invitasjon". "Utlevering" is the only other generic term I can think of.
Elisabeth Maurland (asker) Oct 14, 2015:
I should have included the actual sentence, which is "Your handout is ready!" So anything I have thought of, including the suggestions (thank you both, and sorry for not being more specific), sounds weird in the context. Especially since this particular time, it's an invitation. Maybe elevark might work.

elevark / utleveringsmateriell

"Utleveringsmateriell" is a generic term that could cover most things. I can't think of anything as common and generic as "hand out" though...

agree Per Bergvall : Utleveringsmateriell er greit - selv om bare materiell sikkert ville gjøre nytten.
