Webster's New Third International Unabridged Dictionary?
Chambers Dictionary 11th Edition?
American Heritage Dictionary?
Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary?
Webster's New World College Dictionary?
Almost all the guys here have a comprehensive list of Dic. on their device.
Tell me that you are not thinking that the guy is sitting there at a micro- mini- hell of a thing and blurting out things out of nothing. :)
You're the man. ;)
All are just a matter of taste. You're free to go for the one that you like the best.
For example, how can you decide that سه مایل جلوتر is more colloquial than سه مایل بعد?
Are you going to say that the word جلوتر is more colloquial than بعد?
I don't believe if you would go for that.
My personal advice is that there is no necessity to jump in with a hurried disagreement. Though your opinion is fully respected sir :)
Came to and gully are colloquial, making the whole text informal. All of the given equivalents are somehow formal and cannot be used in such context.
