5.4Instrumentation
The number, type and location of all instrumentation shall be per the Performance Test Schematic.
Calibration of pressure and temperature instruments shall be through the computer data acquisition system.
The stated tolerances are for the total system accuracy, i.e., on temperature measurement, this includes the RTD, cable and readout device.
The maximum measurement system tolerance over the range of the test conditions shall be as follows:
Pressure+ 0.25% of reading
Temperature + 0.5 F
Barometer+ 0.02 inches of mercury
Flow+ 2.5% of reading
Speed + 0.75% of reading
In general, an instrument should be selected for measurement in the upper two-thirds of its range.

Temperatures shall be measured using 4-wire RTD’s.
They shall have been validated per ACD ETP-056.
Two or three RTD’s shall be installed at each location and shall be inserted into the pipe *1/2 and 2/3 of the pipe diameter as practical*.
5.4.2 Pressure Measurements
Individual transducers and local gauges shall be used as specified on the Performance Test Schematic.
The local pressure gauges shall have been calibrated within one year.
The local gauges are for use by the technician in controlling and monitoring of the test.
They are not normally to be used for performance data.
One transducer is used at each measurement point.
In the event of a failure of one of the transducers, the local calibrated gauge data can be used to meet this requirement.

На трубопроводах с наружным диаметром 80-150 мм глубина погружения датчика температуры составляет 0,7D (в том числе и при установке датчика наклонно), а на трубопроводах с наружным диаметром от 400 мм и выше глубина погружения может сокращаться до 0,3D. На тонких трубопроводах (с наружным диаметром трубопровода 50-65 мм ) датчик температуры лучше всего ставить в колене. Если «подходящего» колена нет, то осуществляется установка датчика в расширителе.
0,7D - это 2/3 диаметра
немного странно, почему больше половины диаметра - ведь можно установить датчик с противоположной стороны, но это объясняется тем, что датчики устанавливаются под наклоном
