Bonjour,
Sales
• Consolidation (few openings but consolidation of sales)
• Basics are in place in openings
Merci pour votre aide !

débouchés commerciaux
Selon ma lecture s'agit-il de peu de débouchés commerciaux pour les produits en question, néanmoins une consolidation de ventes a été atteinte ( dans les points de vente qui existent);
"Openings" = " Outlets" ici, à mon avis;

: your explanations are wrong - here "openings" ARE "opportunités [de s'approprier de nouvelles parts de marché]"

: in this ST it's about the "opening" of new commercial opportunities // the key point here (be it in EN or FR) is the "language" (and "logic") of economics which would never point HERE in the direction of neither "new outlets" nor "points de ventes"

English term (edited):
few openings
peu de nouvelles opportunités
imaging the market as being surrounded by a wall made of your competitors; if there is a part of the market neglected by the competition, that makes a hole [= an opening] in that wall and an opportunity for you to jump in and grab a new share of the market

one good article:
Compare and contrast to identify your own uniqueness — Differences between your own messaging strategy and communication channels, and those of your competitors reveal openings in the market that your positioning message should address.

This ST is about a SWOT analysis i.e. ultimately about how to get a biggest share of the market / looking for openings in the market.

Christiane Allen

had you you been in speaking terms with "economese" you wouldn't need to stick so desperately to the wording of the ST, nor would you assume that any term that vaguely looks like it could fit the context would do.
