thx, I suppose 'achterzet' is on the inside, and 'voorzet' on the outside, but the use of brackets looks wrong anyway - and the question was only 'achterzetbeglazing'

: This is a specific solution for stained-glass windows, not the normal Dutch usage in conservation projects where double glass isn't an option because of the limited width of existing window frames

Indien de toepassing van dubbele beglazing technisch niet mogelijk is of indien de toepassing hiervan niet gewenst is, bijvoorbeeld bij Rijksmonumenten, is een akoestisch goed alternatief het aanbrengen van voor- of achterzetbeglazing. Het grote voordeel van voor(achter)zet beglazing is het kunnen creëren van een grote spouw. Hierdoor wordt de geluidswerendheid aanzienlijk verbeterd. Een nadeel is dat er een grote kans op condensvorming en vuil ontstaat.
Bij het verbeteren van de akoestische waarde van een gebouw of bouwwerk is het noodzakelijk om naar alle elementen van de woning te kijken. De geluidswering van een woning wordt namelijk grotendeels bepaald door de "zwaktse schakel"."
