The pump-down plug is used to land and lock in a liner wiper plug. The combined plugs wipe the liner and land in the landing collar to complete cement displacement.

El tapón de tubería (PDPC) y el tapón limpiador del liner (LWPC) separan el cemento del fluido de desplazamiento durante las operaciones de cementación del liner. Ambos tapones son necesarios debido a la gran diferencia de diámetro interno (ID) existente entre la herramienta de servicio y el liner.
