it might be just clumsy writing as you don't "administer/manage" a person but a mandate, and anyway the question makes far more sense if you count "mandates" not people giving mandates.

Nothing stops the same person [un mandataire] (a big institution for example) to give lots of "des mandats", some "gérés" [="actively managed"?] some not [="trackers"?], so only counting mandates really makes sense.

Short version: must be "des mandats"

In addition to be a typo ... is it more asking how many funds there are? Or how many among those funds are presently under active management? Perhaps they have some other mechanism for management other than "geres", such as a buy/sell formula?

Just to say that it's not 100% clear that it necessarily refers to the total number of funds in each category - "actuellement" plausibly serves as an additional filter in this grouping ... but probably it's just the total number

Typo? It is an easy typo to make, even twice, particularly if the spellcheck/autocorrect thing is activated. Easy for it to slip through on a proof-read.
