Dec 13, 2016 15:46: Michele Fauble changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (1): Cristina Bufi Poecksteiner, M.A.

Non-PRO (3): philgoddard, Yvonne Gallagher, Michele Fauble

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Reading of Classic Economic Texts.

thank you!
Darius Saczuk Dec 14, 2016:
I would opt for a straighforward translation: Reading Classic Economic Texts.
Daniela Dib (asker) Dec 14, 2016:
So, Dariusz Saczuk, you are suggesting the version: Readings in Classic Economics?
Toby Wakely Dec 13, 2016:
not much context to go on Difficult to know the answer-hardly any context here.
Darius Saczuk Dec 12, 2016:
Well, I'm currently teaching a class called "Readings in American Literature". By the way, since this is an academic transcript from a foreign country, we have to be careful here, as evaluation agencies and university admission committees frown at any interpretation of foreign credentials and demand "verbatim" translations no matter how clunky they may sound.
Francois Boye Dec 12, 2016:
Please read the attachment attached to my translation
Wendy Streitparth Dec 12, 2016:
@ Dariusz: just sounds a little unEnglish to me as a university subject.
Darius Saczuk Dec 12, 2016:
@Wendy But reading, especially in academic contexts, usually involves interpretation, doesn't it?
Wendy Streitparth Dec 12, 2016:
Is it not possible the meaning of 'lectura' in this case is 'interpretation'?

Reading the classics of Economics

Reading the classics of Economics
What are the classic Economics texts that one really should read for a thorough historical perspective of the evolution and changes in thought on Economics ( and where overlapping Political Theory)? And is reading them really necessary for deep understanding of the field from a more philosophical point of view?
