I am translating a list of popcorn ingredients from English into German.

I have to render "olive oil infused with purple garlic" into German and am struggling to find the appropriate phrase in German for 'infused with' in this context. Could anyone advise please?

Thanks for very useful suggestions. I have a potential wording issue with a clunky double 'mit', i.e. Popcorn mit mit violettem Knoblauch, Thymian, Lorbeer & Rosmarin aromatisiertem/aufgegossenem/durchzogenem nativem Olivenöl extra. Is it possible to say 'Popcorn mit nativem Olivenöl extra aromatisiert mit violettem Knoblauch, Thymian, Lorbeer & Rosmarin', or does that sound just too English? Would it be better to avoid completely and just put ' Olivenöl extra mit Knoblauch etc' as Jule has suggested below?

Mit rotem Knoblauch aromatisiertes Olivenöl - oder einfach Olivenöl mit rotem Knoblauch. So würde ich das bezeichnen. Die Verwendung von "Infusion" "infundiert", wie man sie teilweise im Netz findet, ist m.E. falsch.

(alternativ: verfeinert mit...)


Beispiel: "Die Tapenade entsteht auf derselben Basis wie die Paste, jedoch ist sie zusätzlich mit Kapern und wenig Knoblauch angereichert. Zudem hat sie mehr "Biss", weil sie gröber gehackt wird"
