Uma curiosidade: não sei em outros portos, mas nos que trabalhei o papel que eles preenchiam era chamado de "tally", não tinha uma tradução. Uma das minhas funções era buscar o "tally" todos os dias e informar aos clientes a produção do dia.

Yup, I prefer inspector, too. It depends how they would be called locally. As to the goods, hard to tell what kind of facilities and inspection is carried out without more context. Thank you!
