English term

outlook default

English to Spanish Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Business Meetings
They are talking about making meetings more productive, and not to unnecessarily waste time in them. The context is as follows.

"a. As a guideline, no one should be in more than four hours of meetings in any
given day. You need to prioritize your time. Discuss with your manager if this
is an issue, or take it upon yourself to resolve this.

b. If you call a meeting, include the Purpose, Process, Payoff and an agenda.
Invite only people who need to attend to make decisions, and publish notes to
inform others who need to know the outcomes.

c. Work to keep meetings under 45 mins, and set your ***outlook default*** to 30
minutes in the calendar settings (seriously – do this right now if you are
reading this)."

Thanks in advance

Yes Agree with Marissa, context strongly suggest that it is Outlook.
Marissa Aguayo Gavilano Jul 22, 2017:
Marissa Aguayo Gavilano Jul 22, 2017:
Hola, Adriana.

FYI - I answered this using the Proz app on my phone, which means that I didn't see the discussion above on your doubts as to whether this refers to Outlook until I looked at this on my computer just now. Also, I posted my answer about 8 hours ago, so I have no idea why it's showing up as having been posted 28 minutes ago :/
