Home Switch should be set as sensitive as possible and break within a few degrees of door movement.

I'd change it to using nouns rather than verbs, which would be more idiomatic in FR: 'vérifier la fermeture-ouverture de...'

Although equivalents do exist in FR for make / break, generally speaking I believe close / open are more commonly used; do be careful, of course, to get these the right way round!
