English translation:customers who manage their [personal] finances in a serious and responsible manner
Explanation:
At least in English, it seems odd to collapse a married couple into a single client, even if (as appears to be the case here) they hold a joint account at the bank.

I think that “manejo de sus opraciones” refers in general here to the couple’s management of their (personal) finances. “Operations” in English would suggest transactions within a business context, but there is no suggestion that these persons are anything other than personal banking customers.

disagree  Robert Forstag: Even without the glaring error of “for” rather than “of,” the English here would be tortured and unnatural.

-> Um, yeah, I agree the preposition was placed there by mistake. Any other issue? I honestly think IT, the English language, WOULD NOT be tortured at all as you are treating yourself by expressing THE MERE ABOVE EXPRESSION tortures your mother tongue Rob.

disagree  philgoddard: Robert is right. Neither your answer nor your response to him sound like native English, and it doesn't say anything about "formal".//Three, not ten.

-> Well, I have lately, just today, received about 10 agrees in this site. Why should I worry? because of your 2 disagrees? Relax guys, no torture needed here.

  -> Merci, François.

agree  philgoddard: I would leave out "serious and". It doesn't add anything, and it sounds odd.
3 hrs
-> Perhaps so, but “serio” is in the original, and somehow needs to be accounted for. The sense seems to be that the couple doesn’t fritter their money away on nights at the casino, expensive trips, etc. Thank you, Phil.

disagree  Maximo Wilhelm Muñoz: Um, look. If the source text is not properly created, and the client expects it to be translated as it is, then you cannot assume anything else. Have a good evening Robert.

-> I do not see where I have distorted the intended meaning of the original text, and you have not shown that I have done so.

agree  patinba: "in a sound and responsible manner" perhaps?
9 hrs
-> Perhaps “sound” would do here. Thank you, Pat.
