Essentially this is saying the patient had trouble breathing because she/he was lying down. To put it in medicalese, you can try something like "hypoventilation induced by/caused by decubitus position" or something similar. I don't even think you need "pulmonary" because it's obvious ... hypoventilation doesn't happen in the kidneys or liver.
