This occurs after a witness's name in a transcript of testimony. It also occurs as (qpd).

Context example: "...se tiene la entrevista de Jane Smith Abercrombe (qepd)"

Could it possibly mean "deceased"?

Sorry this is all the context I have. If more context that would be helpful was in fact available, I would most likely be able to work this out on my own.
