I am doing an internal quiz for a car manufacturer. I think this relates to the (lower) door trims but cannot find an exact word

coloured accents

I have a very strrong suspicion that 'ponctuel' here is the term now being used for those 'accents' that have given us so much trouble in earlier KudoZ!

If you think about it, an 'accent' means an occasional little splash (etc.) of colour (etc.) — so the noun 'une ponctuelle' is actually quite a good choice.
