: Going by John's ref., perhaps this means "finely chopped"? I've never heard this word used myself, people would normally say "pepino picado".

Picar, implica que están hechos casi "picadillo", o sea, aunque sea "raw materials", no veo que pueda ser otra cosa. :-)
However, my Mexican husband immediately said chopped cucumber just now when I asked him. Go figure.
