English to Spanish Art/Literary Psychology Manipulative people

Context:
On the surface they can appear charming and genial. But underneath, they can be ever so calculating and ruthless.

Note: I'm trying to find an accurate adjective for manipulative people which conveys the idea that they are good on the outside and evil underneath.
