A pair of new bridges is required to carry the widened motorway over Deniehy Street. One is located on the north side of the existing motorway bridge and the other on its south side. Each bridge is on a curved horizontal alignment and comprises three spans.

Spill through abutments are proposed for the new bridges to match the existing bridge abutments, with the same slope of 1.5 H : 1 V. The new abutments are finished with pavers matching the existing batter treatment as closely as possible.
