Use of the word 緊 in a Japanese blood test report

urgent test result
緊 can mean "緊急を要する" (panic/critical value) or results of "緊急検査". Since those values are within normal range, the former does not apply. Then I guess that results were based on "urgent test result(s)". But I have never seen this.

I saw this once when one of my foreign friends was feeling faint and I took him to the hospital. When he told the doctor he was anemic, the doctor ordered blood work right away. The nurse put a sticker on the blood vials that said, [緊]. The nurse suddenly blurted out in perfect English, "This sticker means urgent, or pressing or exigent." Then she walked away while we sat there with our mouths hanging open LOL
