English term

to c/o

English to German Medical Medical: Health Care Travel medicine
I´m about to translate a doctor´s report about a patient suffering a fall injury in Nepal.

It´s not quite clear to me what the expression "to c/o" means in this context.

Here´s the whole sentence: "He started to c/o pain chest right lower ribs and found it difficult to get up..."

Thank you in advance for tips and suggestions!

Happy new year to all of you!

remember there is usually a fourth year medical student on the rotation somewhere, too. We are always ..... Pt. cont. to c/o (complain of) weakness in. LLE, now ...
Peer comment(s):

disagree Steffen Walter : Im medizinischen Kontext nicht "beklagte sich über", sondern "klagte über".
